Lowest July temperature ever here was 3.9C/39F from what I can tell. Lowest this month is 8.5C/47F. I think the August record low is higher.

Heat index will be pushing 112F/44C the end of this week so the NWS is issuing our first heat warning since 2012.

Lowest temperature here in July was 1.8C. And it wasn't that many years ago either. Don't bother to check but I think it was in 2009. Aah, f*ck it, I'm gonna check anyway. Yeah, 2009.

Well this looks like a normal summer forecast. A bit cloudy on Monday, though:

And don't believe propaganda sites like the BBC or Met Office. REAL London forecast provided by FMI:

That looks comfortably above average for Turku.

They aren't very accurate are they. Almost as bad as accuweather!

Finally! We've had 4 (!!!) days above average so far this July. But, only 3 nights below average! Tells you something about the month so far. Cloudy maritime crap.

Until this weekend just gone, we had only managed 1 day above average, and that was by 0.1c. I think we are due some heat for once. Even if we get 3 days of low 30s, and then the rest of the forecast is 23-27c, we will only end up average for July, with below average sun.

Aah, I count like the FMI that -0.5/+0.5C days are average.

Our summers are rather stable. Typical coldest July temperature we get is 10°C, average low is about 15.4°C. We had 9°C early July this year.
