That does not swing with me. There are other things to do than drink... Rope climbing... Holidays... Swimming... Skiing etc..

To call someone judgemental because they don't support alcohol is judgemental..

Calling people judgmental for criticizing others for drinking alcohol is not being judgmental - it's being observant.

I do alcohol in moderation. No point taking an extreme and being totally liberal and paying the price through liver damage or frequent hangovers, any more than there is in being a religious teetotaler and telling everybody else that they should not/can not drink.

If I feel like an alcoholic beverage, I will have one, or two, and it's not all that often, but sometimes it's nice. Nobody needs to be judging anybody, and it's not as if that's really required, because if someone does take an extreme view on it, there are usually consequences of some sort like the above mentioned. I will not tell someone they have to stop drinking excessively as long as they are not inflicting trouble on anyone else because of it. If that line gets crossed, I will be like a ton of bricks. The problem with teetotolars on the other hand is they tend to be intrusive, pushing their views on others, and should be quiet, not telling people what to do. They can have their opinion though, but be respectful about it.

Sweetheart...

You don't do any of those things either, you sit on your laptop all day calling everyone a heathen, even when you are on holiday

And it isn't judgemental to call someone else up on being judgemental

And you say you have tried wine & didn't like it, you do know how many different types of wine there are in the world don't you? Even I don't like all wines & I do love a glass of vino

For the record to die an alcohol related death you need to be a pisshead, like Oliver Reed (who actually died in a pub in Malta!), having the odd glass of wine after work or a few drinks at the weekend will NOT kill you. FACT.

Oh the irony! (once again)

We will hold you to that, if you log in once here when you are in America you have to pay a frat house style forefit & drink your body weight in alcohol
