The issue is to elect conservative leaders not special interest people. We can totally see what democrats are doing to us now as they all fight over health care, when over 60% of this nation don't want them involved in. They are not even listening to what we want. This is America and I really think people have forgotten what this country was founded on, when we get away from that we loose, we end up being like all the other nations we don't want to be like. Change can be bad.

This country was founded on Judeo Christian principals, the belief in a greater power than one's self. What makes this country great and stand apart from the world is American exceptionalizm and ingenuity. Everything started going wrong when progressives took over the school systems. Thus we have children of all ages being taught things like global warming and safe sex etc. schools are for education. Remember the 3 R's Reading Writing and Arithmatic, what ever happened to that! Leave the social engineering out of it.

I agree (especially with the Christian values part), and will add that our greatness was also made possible by the great sacrifices of our ancestors, who passed the benefits of their sacrifices on to us as our a legacy. It is absolutely our responsibility to protect their enormous investment and to pass it on to our offspring in an even better condition than it was given to us. The actions of the socialist/nazis, the wacko left (that is basically disconnected from reality and that usually has the least invested in our country's successes) and the far right "fiscal conservatives", who mostly seek cheap labor and don't care who has to pay for it as long as it isn't them, are incredibly destructive of our Nation, its long standing values, and of true opportunity for the generations to follow.
Since certain, often sinister, elements within our society control the media and channels of distribution for news and opinion, it is an uphill battle to maintain freedom and opportunity. This is especially true since some of those same corrupt elements have infiltrated our higher education system to the point where truth is no longer and desirable end. It is now the ends justify's the means, and those ends don't really represent the desires of our people. They are distorted by a group that seeks to "socially engineer" us into clones of their particular world view of globalism and mass submission to their socialist agenda. It is sick.
And its time for a new political party to take the lead for this country...the dems and the repubs are the same club...one is a little wackier than the other...

Nothing against safe sex but those that aren't old enough to be having sex shouldn't be learning about it - what do they curiousity killed the cat. If I want my child to know about sex I will tell them If I want my child to know that drugs are bad I will tell them that. Those are parental responsibilites not teacher's. If I want my child to know religion I will take them to a church. It all starts at home. Morals and values
I am sure there are more pressing problems in WV but I don't want them all out there too. That is one of the reasons we are picking up and moving there. I hear that people who are hiring for full time jobs because people still want to stay on unemployment there. They only want to work 1 or 2 days.
The Founding Fathers of this nation (with the exception of Franklin, who chose reason above all) expected the inspiration of 'Divine Providence to guide them...a very good example of this in Washington before the Valley Forge Encampment where he decided to attack the Hessions at Trenton and routed the British in the middle of the grog ration.
Their principles were Judeo-Christian with a huge helping of the Masonic Order to boot...It was a nation founded on religions principals and nothing more...check out the Preamble of each State's Constitution, if you will...unless those have been changed this year, you might get a hint of this countries beginnings.

Why don't you folks direct your ire to where it really belongs right now - the big banks and Wall Street? They're the ones who are taking us for a ride, thanks to both Henry Poulson and Tim Geitner.
Many of the founding fathers, including Jefferson, were deists. Not exactly your brand of Christianity.
