Location help? waterfall & park (Asheville, Morganton: parks, area, place)

A few years ago I was leaving the Asheville area (headed toward SC) and stopped around Tryon. I found a park where you could hike a ways to a waterfall...does anyone know the name of this park or the place I am referring to? I would like to go again this weekend if possible.

Are you sure you weren't south of Morganton instead though?
