What subject area?
When did you last take remedial English instruction?

Are you in the United States at this time? If so, you should speak with one of your ESL instructors or another teacher. If not, you should ask the professor for clarification. I assume you mean the manuscript is under review? Where? You could also ask the publisher about it - the situation is really hard to tell from your description and clearly you need to speak to someone who really understands it.

Sorry for the misunderstand I wrote to you. I am looking for the position. one professor is interested in me after we talked with each other about his projects and my previous work. Now, He asks me my manuscript which contains my previous work. As The manuscript is still under-reviewed and I hope to get the position in his lab, I don't know how to response to his email? Could you please give me some suggestions? Many thanks!
