Was this job you were fired from one you picked up after being fired from the bingo hall?

Maybe you can go back to collecting money for getting kicked in the nads.

What you did was childish, thoughtless and stupid. With that said, if the job is important to you, put your tail between your legs and ask for a meeting with your ex-supervisor. Tell him exactly what you think about your actions. Explain what you've learned from the experience. Be humble and take whatever abuse he throws your way. And ask if they'll give you a second chance for a probationary period. If you liked what you were doing and really want your job back, you have nothing to lose.

I think everyone here is being a little hard on him. Yeah he messed up, but c'mon, sometimes guys do things in the spur of the moment without really thinking them through.. especially when it comes to impressing a girl! I'm sure his boss was right in firing him for monkeying around, but don't tell me that none of you have ever done anything without thinking first and then regretted it later? I think we all have. It was just a mistake, i'm sure he learned from it.

You're probably pretty upset right now. Some things, in life, are learned the hard way. Just chuck it up as a past error and move on. We ALL make mistakes and errors in judgement.

Personally, I wouldn't sue or do any legal maneuvering. Try seeing if your manager can forgive and forget. So, you might have to do some groveling. Otherwise, just keep plugging along.

Good luck and this shall pass too...

Have you read any of his previous posts? They're good for a drollish trollish laugh but, had you read them I don't think you'd be responding so!

If he ever had a job, really, I doubt it, unless its writing comedic science fiction. Its sad to see this kind of behaviour, he's serously calling out for attention. Anyway, this is who you are dealing with in yet another seemingly nonsensical thread of "lone traveler" or "Traveling Alone"

Yep, I was duped. But I can honestly say that I don't pay much attention to most user names.
