I think Italian is one of the better sounding languages. I also like Greek . As I speak French in my everyday life, I don't find it thaaat beautiful, it's quite overrated, although I find the South France and Quebec accents to be sexy.
Any language that is foreign to me.
For example, I don't think English or Spanish are beautiful...probably because I hear them so often.
Italian and German sound beautiful to me.
What do you think are the most beautiful sounding languages?
I think Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Arabic, and English spoken by some Irish, English, and Scottish people (I've never heard Welsh accents so I can't compare).
Arabic? Get real. It sounds like cats scratching a chalkboard.

well, it doesn't sound QUITE like that.. but if it's spoken when the speaker is angry it can be quite bad. Arabic sounds beautiful when the speaker is happy or when it is sung.
English just doesn't quite have the "flow" that other languages seem to have.

The most beautiful sounding languages to me are
French, American English, Mandarin Chinese, Thai, Japanese, British English, Hindi Indian, Swedish, Icelandic, Romanian, Danish, and Norweigan.
The ugliest sounding languages to me are German, Albanian/Serbian/Bosnian, Korean, Russian, Arabic, Dutch, Irish/Irish english, Spanish, Italian, Vietnamese, Hungarian, and Mongolian.
I learned Spanish from a teacher who was a native speaker of Catalan. My first friends who were native Spanish speakers were Cuban refugees (1960s). Their Spanish speech is so much more pleasant to listen to that any other that I hear.
