That happens often in So Cal. I had this ***** blatantly cut me off I honk and look at her in her rearview mirror and see slams on the brakes and tries to get me to rear end her while flipping me off. I was on my way to a sales appointment so she didn't get any "splash".

Many drivers in Germany act like they'd be some kind of Michael Schuhmacher. Really, there are a few highways here without any speed limit and therefore offer the opportunity to start a "Formula 1 race", mostly involving males suffering from the "small man syndrome". Same in urban areas, where there is a speed limit of 50 km/h (31 mph) for main streets with many people ignoring it in a hurry. It really seems that despite having strict license and traffic laws (driving school is very expensive and hard here), we have some significant amount of horrible drivers moreso than other countries. Honking isn't that common, though.
I actually starting carrying a bat in my car when I was a teen in So Cal. I had 3 serious road rage incidents before 21. People are very attached to their cars in CA and get real territorial.
