Alameda County is just as diverse as Queens.

Northern California appears to be ahead of the rest of the country as far as racial diversity and integration. This is partly because of the exorbitant cost of living in the Inner Bay which has pushed out hundreds of thousands of immigrants to the hinterlands thus creating extremely diverse populations in outlying areas, not just in the urban core.

This map is evidence of that:

I do not know what mental deficiency you have or from which McDonald's university you received your degree, but race does not account for ethnicity which is true telling of cultural diversity, languages spoken, religions practiced, and other metrics of diversity. Please go back to posting your crappy Flickr account and hyping up your useless metrics for diversity (which, btw from your link shows places in Alaska as more diverse--laughable and proves how terrible your sources are).

Yawns...sorry hun but I don't care, go cry to yer momma cause I'm not listening.

Alameda County is just racially diverse as Queens and that's a fact. Now this thread isn't about your little county so kindly get back to the topic which is SF vs London.

And btw, we already did this topic at length over at city-vs-city and you may read about it here:

It was a real barn burner.

Does it make sense to focus on racial diversity over cultural diversity?

It doesn't make sense to ignore either, but I'm not here to prove everyone's point, just mine.
