A person who was born in the city of Novosibirsk, in Siberia, Russian Federation, is considered to be an European?
Or an Asian?
To make the question a little more tricky, suppose the person in question has blonde hair and is an Orthodox Christian...
So, European or Asian?
The person could only claim Asian, if he had Asian/Siberian heritage. It would be like asking, if a person is born in the US, with blue eyes and blond hair. Is he Native American or white? Well most likely white.
First and foremost this person is Russian. But Novosibirsk is in Asia so technically he has a right to call himself an Asian however I guess in practice they hardly refer to themselves as such
Well, considering that the city of Novosibirsk already had a population of 80,000 people before 1917, let's assume that the person that we are talking about has both parents born in Novosibirsk, as well as all four grandparents also born in Novosibirsk.
A bonde haired person whose two parents and four grandparents were born in Novosibirsk.
Europe and Asia are the same continent geographically. Eurasia.
The reason they are divided in two continents is just by culture, history and race.
All then are Eurasian.
