Sometimes you have to take a breathe
and exhale all your pain
Sometimes you have to stand outside
and listen to the rain

Sometimes you have to open up
and really learn to trust
Sometimes you have to steel yourself
and do what you must

Sometimes you have to take a hand
and admit you need someone
Sometimes you have to free yourself
from being the lonely one

Sometimes you have to sacrifce
and take the tougher road
Sometimes you have to know the worth
and bear the heavy load

Sometimes you have to find your strength
and be deserving of the one
Sometimes you have to brave the storm
to stand out in the sun
