I hate that one, too.

I have a friend who emails me and often refers to this person or that person as "coo coo".

This woman has more formal education than I do and holds a pretty responsible position. Is it possible she doesn't know the word "cuckoo"?

She also writes that certain things "discust" her.

Ha, I've never heard those. That would drive me insane.

I know someone who says, and writes, "loss" instead of "lost".

"My sister loss her house to foreclosure."

I know someone who says "getting down to brass tactics!" She uses that phrase all of the time and lately I have an uncontrollable urge to drive by her house and scream tacks out the window.

After a long career on Craigslist and City Data, the most common error is that of the lowly apostrophe.

I've heard a few people say 'libary' instead of 'library'. Drives me crazy.

Masonary instead of masonry in both verbal and written use. There is no such thing as masonary!

When people write, h/she was a real "trooper" instead of "trouper."

And those who say "kindygarten" instead of "kindergarten." It's German; there's no "kindy" in it.
