I love that response! I'm going to use it with all the teenagers I know (and I'll bet I won't receive one eye-roll).

Nope--you'll get the blank stare, the "huh?".

That's the same response I heard during the same time period.

The word that has been driving me nuts for some time is "awesome!". I'm sure it's been mentioned repeatedly somewhere in these 76 pages of posts. It is so overused. That shirt is awesome! That meal was awesome! That movie was awesome!

Really? Really and truly?

I just want to use that line from The Princess Bride--"I do not think that word means what you think it means."
