Meaning something to the effect of - it would be very hard to trick me.. Seems to have originated back when seeing an elephant would have been a rarity. And owls are often equated with wisdom.
LOL.. reminds me of back in the day when I would tell my young children that I was UN-trickable.. It worked for a few years.. (that and telling them I had eyes in the back of my head) ;-)
