Big cities are great. Just think if there weren't any, and little old Corvallis got more people.
Less noise here, more stars in the sky (as long as it's not overcast), less traffic to compete with, more peace of mind, because big cities like Los Angeles and Seattle are there for the millions who like them.
That reminds me of a word: homogeneity. Good thing we don't have too much of that.
