"Look at all them ants"

OK, for the story behind it. Many decades ago my dad worked for mining company and sleeping on the job was a firing offense. Well one of his friends fell asleep sitting up on an orange crate during the night. Two supervisors walked up and caught him and called his name. Instead of looking up and answering them he just kept looking down and finally said "Look at all them ants". He kept his job even though there was not an ant in site. The brass didn't bother to get down close enough to look.
