Why did the mushroom go to the party?

Because he was a fungi.

Armchair. I saw it in a book last night and thought to contribute it here.

On a bus in Brazil, I saw a bilingual sign using the English word "Armchair" with reference to the seats of the bus (maybe, "Do not put feet or gum on armchairs"), which I though was beautiful.

"I don't give 'a tinker's damn' " & "damning with faint praise"
Is that d-word allowed or should I have used this icon ?
Just doesn't sound the same to say "tinker's darn"
or "darning with faint praise" (sounds more like a sewing mishap)
