I once saw a Kentucky Fried Chicken store (before it was shortened to "KFC"!), and directly across the street was a no-name fried chicken restaurant. The sign in front said, "If the Colonel had OUR recipe, he'd be a general by now."

I've seen a tow service called Tow Jam...really.

Or men working when one works while the others watch. Should be: "Man Working." Though sometimes they're all standing around talking.

There is a restaurant in Atlanta across the street from a cemetery. The restaurant is called Six Feet Under.

Atlanta Seafood Restaurant, Pub and Fishhouse - Six Feet Under Atlanta

That's a good one! I would eat there.

Also, in Florida along Route 41, I saw a store called "Not Just Futons and Barstools." HUH??

So can one get any furniture there?

The signs on the highway that say Soft Shoulder are funny. Maybe motorists should work out more.

On gravel roads here in Washington, we sometimes get: PRIMITIVE ROAD NEXT 3 MILES. I keep expecting Neanderthals to leap out with clubs and demand that I hand over my mammoth meat and flint-knapping tools.
