Animals eat dieseled and dying animals all the time as they are the easiest to catch.

Dieseled, def., smashed flat by the tire of an eighteen wheeler, as in a dieseled possum.

In a news article that I read earlier today, the reporter informed her readers that, "The criteria is set...".

I think most people don't have a clue about such endings, that's why we get things such as "forums" for instance

In defense of "forums," both Bryan Garner and Merriam-Webster favor standard American pluralization for foreign words that have become standard English. Very common irregular plurals like "milennia" and "bacteria" are acceptable but considered to be exceptions.

Like "stadia" being the plural for an old unit of length, but "stadiums" being the plural for large sports venues?

"Venues" is a great example too, actually.

You could argue for The proposal's appendices were bound separately, but not Reading about appendices made me scared of peritonitis.
