My ex went to first grade twice. You'd think he'd have picked something up!
Alas, my DH went through second grade twice, and spells so bad that spell check is frequently stumped. I know part of the problem is he doesn't check his writing. He always writes till instead of tell, and Windy instead of Wendy. Drives me nuts, but I'm a champ speller, and he kills all the bugs.

Baby momma/daddy. It looks and sound so stupid and ignorant. It makes me think of ghetto fights over who had sex with who on Jerry Springer.

Hella is another word I hate. It doesn't even sound right.

I also hate when people misuse princiPAL and princiPLE. They are two different words with two different meanings.

Yeah, mine could fix the car and pretty much anything else. I could deal with the bad spelling. But he also had issues with being unable to detach himself from barstools and with the concept of steady employment.

In CD's automotive forum, somebody posted his complaint about people who drive their vehicles in, "incremental weather", without using the headlights.

After someone else responded that, "At least the weather was not excremental!", the OP acknowledged his mistake.

A patient at our office said that she couldn't pay her co-pay because her checking account was "in the rear."
