"You wouldn't expect neither of us to be on this road."

So, does this mean that at least one of you is always on this particular road ?

I imagine that I am not alone is disliking the TV ads placed by law firms trying to solicit business from people who are (allegedly) the victims of medical malpractice and/or side effects from Rx drugs. However, one of these ads is much more annoying to me than most of them are, due to the spokeswoman's mispronunciations.

The ad in question has to do with the possible side-effects of testosterone therapy, and the spokeswoman recites a litany of side-effects/ailments/medical conditions that could be the result of this therapy. The first medical condition that she mentions is "shtroke". No, not "stroke".

A few moments later she repeats her laundry list of side-effects/ailments/medical conditions, and--again--the first one on her list is "shtroke".

How does one secure employment as an on-air spokesperson without being able to properly pronounce one of the key words in the message?

Maybe she's had a shtroke that affected her speech.

He gave it to you and I. aaaargh....

I think it's the public schools and their "don't ruin the kid's self esteem by correcting him" policies.
I think it's the apostrophe faults that bother me the most.
I agree with your final statement completely.
