On the local morning News yesterday the girl used the term 'fessed up instead of confessed to when referring to a crime. "She fessed up to embezzling $160,000." OMG!
In another forum here on CD, someone referred to the "marshall community." He meant the military. Apparently, "martial" isn't listed in his dictionary.
I just saw a post with "taken for granite," which I hope was a joke.
I've seen that before, fleetiebelle. Unfortunately, it's not a joke.
Here's something I never ran across before this new poster appeared in one of the fora. She capitalizes nearly every word in her posts.
Here's an example: Would You Still Consider Dating A Girl Who Has Had Such Surgery?
I find it extremely annoying to read her posts. It's even more annoying than reading posts containing no capitalizations!

Here's something else I find most annoying: people who use apostrophes when all they really wanted to do was make a plural. Like a flower store advertising Rose's.
