Yeah, I know, this one gets to me. Yeah, I do see it a lot. "motivated" is one of my pet peeves, I believe I am "motived" to act. that which encourages motive. I'm not sure why "motive" is so singled out, I am not "orderivated" to stop by the stop sign.
Ok how do we know misspelled words are actually in fact misspelled, what if they are in fact correctly spelled and it’s the dictionaries that are misprinted with spelling errors? Hmm
Because we've already read most of the words elsewhere, and we can recognize them!

I suppose I stand corrected. I ask for only a smidgen of consideration, because I'm a native-born Brooklynite. That means I was born in the borough where people stand on line, but never in line. (Computers? We don't need no stinkin' computers; we were on line before computers were invented!)
