My husband and I went to Baxter yesterday to look around for rentals and we ended up buying a new townhouse! How crazy is that? It isn't finished being built yet, but we should be in by November.
We're really happy because we're finally putting down roots. We've moved countless times over the years and the longest is when we lived in Europe for 3 years. My husband absolutely loves his job and sees the potential for growth within the company, so it made sense to buy a place.
beachbumssb - I registered for my "mini-semester" class at York Tech and got the scoop on the dental hygiene program, which is why I decided to go there. Apparently, the waiting list is about 3 years!! The advisor told me that a lot of people come down from Charlotte and pay out-of-state tuition because the program in Charlotte is so difficult to get in to. I'm kind of bummed out about it, but I guess it just gives me time to get my core classes done - one at a time. Oh, and I might qualify for in-state tuition because my husband got relocated for work. Gotta love loopholes!
