Description: The center is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Senior Center serves meals five days a week. About 25 meals a day are transported to seniors’ homes. There’s a blood-pressure clinic once a month. Exercise classes happen three times a week. The senior center is also a good place to connect with town activities, including book groups, lectures, art classes, and pinochle and bridge clubs. It hosts card games twice a week and a weekly oil-painting class.

Most of the blown glass is made at the shop’s other studio in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Description: Established in 1928, this large bookstore in an old log cabin was originally the home of turn-of-the-20th-century residents. The owners have had the bookstore for four generations. The New York Times is available, along with a wide selection of hardcovers, paperbacks, children’s books, books on cassette, magazines, and calendars. Be sure to read the history plaque out front explaining how the first bookstore on the site was opened in the owners’ living room. Colorful Scottish plaid carpet and exposed log beams set the interior mood.

Moses Street specializes in portraits, but we’re not talking about a stool in front of a fake bookcase.
