The daily breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day, with choices from fresh fruit and yogurt to tomatoes and cheese, along with the usual breakfast entrees. At first glance, diners might wonder where the eggs are. They are cooked fresh to your order. A server will take your order and quickly deliver the prepared eggs, including poached if that is your desire. Atmosphere at the Pullman is reminiscent of a railcar and servers are very attentive. The Crowne Plaza is a treat for an overnight stay. It is best known for 26 authentic Pullman train car guest rooms. Children and train buffs will enjoy that. Also look for the “ghost figures,” statues of passengers and other people from the past. You might see a statue of an old-time shoe shiner, a paperboy, or lady in a long dress waiting to catch a train.
