Description: New Seabury is distinguished by its two top-notch courses: the renowned Ocean Course overlooking Vineyard Sound and the Dunes Course. The Ocean Course (formerly known as the Blue Course) has long been considered one of the top 100 golf courses in the United States, earning the nickname “Pebble Beach of the East.” The course is 7,131 yards from the tips, has a slope of 133, and a course rating of 75.7 for the par 72. Many think that the course plays even harder than those numbers. The Ocean’s sister course, the Dunes, was entirely redesigned in 2001 by architect Marvin Armstrong. Thanks to its 18 revamped holes, it can no longer be regarded as the Ocean’s more boring sister. Once known as the Green Course, 300 yards have been added, making this par 70 course 6,340 yards from the tips. It also gained two additional ponds, numerous strategically placed bunkers, and more waste areas than you will find on any other New England course.New Seabury charges different greens fees per course, so we recommend that you check greens fees when making your reservation. The Dunes Course is open to the general public year-round, whereas the Ocean Course is only open to the general public from mid-Oct through mid-June. Tee-time reservations are taken two days in advance from the general public.
