Description: The Sanderling Inn Resort is situated on 12 acres of oceanside wilderness about 5 miles north of the town of Duck. The Sanderling was built in the style of the old Nags Head beach homes, with wood siding, cedar-shake accents, dormer windows, and porches on each side. Rocking chairs line the wide porches, providing a relaxing way to pass sultry afternoons while overlooking the ocean or sound.All 87 rooms at the Sanderling are comfortable, lush, and accommodating.
