Description: Accomplished potters Rhonda Bates and Wes Lassiter moved their studio from Edenton, North Carolina, to Frisco in 2001. Watch them as they turn their wonderful creations at the wheel. These are well-crafted, artistic pieces, whether intended for functional or decorative use. It’s definitely worth a stop to see their bowls, pitchers, vases, vessels, platters, teakettles, miniatures, and fabulous fish- and crab-imprinted hanging wall tiles. In late afternoons these hospitable potters invite customers to paint a piece of pottery and fire it raku-style. The gallery is open seven days a week year-round.

Scotch Bonnet also carries T-shirts, sweatshirts, jewelry, gifts, hermit crabs, and accessories. Don’t miss the hermit crab races every Friday during the summer.
