Description: Within its beautiful 604-acre campus that’s centrally located on Long Island, the SUNY College at Old Westbury offers a quiet atmosphere dedicated to learning, yet it’s just 20 miles from Manhattan. As of 2009 approximately 3,300 students from across America and 20 different countries were enrolled at the college. The school has a 122-person full-time faculty and boasts a 17 to 1 student-to-teacher ratio. Currently SUNY College at Old Westbury offers 45 undergraduate majors and 16 minors, in both liberal arts and professional fields, along with a graduate program in accounting. Undergraduates can pursue the following four-year degrees: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Professional Studies. Master of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Taxation degrees are also offered.
