Description: Located in the Kamber’s Shopping Center in Nichols Hills for four and a half years, this is a relatively small venue but one that offers a great intimate feel. The clientele ranges in age from upper twenties to fifties. There is no designated dance floor, but that doesn’t mean the crowd won’t dance. Live music is offered Thurs and Sat nights at 10 p.m. The music is acoustic and all of the musicians bring speakers. The staff adjusts the volume according to how many people are in the bar and the level of conversation. During the day at lunch they play acoustic covers from satellite radio, 1980s and 1990s during happy hour, and pop late at night. Over 50 wines are available by the glass and there is an extensive beer list as well as a full-service bar. A nitrogen preservation system helps Bin 73 offer unique wines without running the risk of them going bad. Wine tastings are held once or twice a month offering four or five wines with a tasting plate that complements the wines featured, as well as complimentary green chile queso at the start of the tasting. The tastings are held on Wed at 7 p.m. and cost $17.50 per person (not including tax or gratuity).BIN 73 serves lunch as well as dinner. The full menu is served until 11 p.m. daily. Hours are Mon through Wed, 11 a.m. to midnight, Thurs and Fri 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Sat from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. There is no cover charge.
