Description: This nightspot is considered one of the best neighborhood bars in Oklahoma City. Edna has been in business for herself since 1980 and has been responsible for outstanding service and entertainment ever since. Rumor has it Edna will dance on the bar if you play Jerry Lee Lewis’s “Great Balls of Fire” on the jukebox. The building was renovated in 2008 and a patio was added out front. The interior walls are covered with dollar bills from patrons leaving their mark on Edna’s for the last 20 years. Crowds here are quite eclectic. There is one pool table, a dart machine, and a jukebox. The music is not excessively loud but has a tendency to increase in volume as the night progresses. All types of music are played. There is never a cover charge at Edna’s and the average drink price is $4.The hours are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Edna’s is also a restaurant.
