Description: If you like to listen to music in the open air and under the wide-open sky, then you will love this venue. While there is a huge stage with a state-of-the-art sound system, seating is on the lawn. Be sure to bring a lawn chair or a blanket. Constructed in 1935 and 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps and made from native sandstone, this amphitheater saw hard times in the 1960s, but was restored in the late 1970s. Past performers include Sheryl Crow, Journey, Charlie Daniels, Stevie Nicks, and Chris Isaak.While all guests are invited to have fun, there are some things that you can’t bring with you. Security does not allow pets, ice chests, outside food or beverages, cameras, tape recorders, video equipment, or weapons of any kind. General admission and VIP seats are available. Depending on the concert, ticket prices can range from $28 to $125. Guests should know that once tickets sold exceeds 6,000, no more lawn chairs will be allowed and all sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.
