Description: Once the kids find out about the 360-foot waterslide at this campground, you might have no other choice than to stay here. But think of the benefits to yourself, too. While the youngsters are happily sliding (and burning off a great deal of energy), you’re taking your leisure under a pine tree or beside the heated pool. And the owners make the following promise: If their restrooms aren’t the cleanest you’ve ever found, your stay is free. There are approximately 99 campsites here, about 37 of which have full or partial hookups for RVs. A year-round full-service cabin is available also. Your family will have the use of a laundry, small convenience store, arcade, and playground. They also offer a range of cabins from which to choose or rent the Native tipi. The campground, 3.5 miles west of Custer, is open from May to Oct. Peak season (early June to late Aug) rates start at $23 for four people, with an additional charge for hookups and use of the waterslide. Inquire about off-season, monthly, and group rates. Children ages 5 and younger stay for free. Pets are welcome.
