The lid of the plastic display container where donuts are held has broken off. Need to have lid to protect donuts from possible sources of contamination. Owner reports that new equipment and display racks will be installed in the next few months per Quality Inn breakfast upgrade.

1) Drawers in dining area have some food debris build-up and need to be cleaned. Some of the drawers and lower cupboards in kitchen are also getting some food debris build-up inside. 2) Plastic single service utensils in baskets on dining room counter need to have handles facing same direction to prevent contamination of food contact surfaces. 3) Tongs stored on dining room counter in front of pastry display case. Need to store tongs in a smooth, cleanable container between use.

Juice counter cooler at 48 degrees. Housekeeper reports that the breaker to juice machine tripped earlier this morning. Juice had been in machine for only a couple hours. Juice was removed from machine and put in kitchen refrigerator. Instructed not to put juice back into machine until machine is operating properly. Must maintain juice at 45 degrees or less.
