    • Cold hold (PHF food not maintained at 41° F or below 3-501.16, pg 82)
      Food items in the top of the prep cooler are above 41 degrees. Tomatoes and cheese were both around 45 degrees.

    • Mechanical washing/sanitizing (Sanitization requirement/methods: hot water or chemical 4-702.11, 4-703.11, p 137)
      The automatic dishwasher is not sanitizing properly. Sanitizer strength must be a minimum of 50 ppm.
  • Plumbing/Water/Sewage
    • Accessible/soap & towels provided (Hand soap/cleanser not provided 6-301.11, p 173)
      Soap is needed at kitchen at bar handsink.
  • Other Operations
    • Handling/storage/labeling of toxic items (Not used & applied according to Manufacturer's use directions 7-202.12, p 183)
      Sanitizer solution in spray bottle is mixed too strong--it must be 200 ppm.

    • Proper handwashing (Hands & arms, when to wash 2-301.14, p 42)
      Cook did not wash hands upon entering kitchen to prepare food. Proper handwashing needs to be done before dawning gloves and preparing food. Gloves were worn while food was prepared. Do not use a dry common hand towel for cleaning hands and surfaces. Proper sanitation buckets should be mixed and used for cleaning surfaces.

    • Cross-Contamination Protection (Inadequate protection from cross-contamination 3-302.11, p 61)
      Raw meats in refrigerator stored above ready-to-eat foods. All raw meats need to be stored below ready-to-eat foods.

    • Accessible/soap & towels provided (Handsink maintained/accessible/restricted use 5-205.11, pg 151)
      Handsink blocked at time of inspection. Handsink should be kept clear at all times so proper handwashing can be accomplished. Hand towels need to be provided at all handwashing locations.

      Mop sink not installed. Owners still working on installing proper handsink.

      Garbage on top of counter at time of inspection. Items placed on counter tops need to be properly cleaned and sanitized after items are returned to floor.

Pleasantly surprised to find this little gem on highway 69. Welcoming people, open and accommodating atmosphere, good food, full bar - and one pretty unique feature I really love: They have a great big back patio with another bar, large open area including volleyball, fire-pit, full smoker BBQ and lots of grass area. They had a bean-bag tournament going on the day I was there - it was awesome. They also had a live band - great! I brought my family of 7 and everyone was happy - including my wallet (as the whole thing was quite affordable). Family friendly fun for dinner and then, I came back later (just my lady and me) to enjoy the band, drinks, and meet new people. It was fun for everyone. Really enjoyed it and WILL DEFINITELY be back. I fully encourage everyone to give it a try - good times!!!
