Bulk items (goldfish, popcorn) served in large baskets with a linen liner are self served by the customer using small plastic cups without handles. There may be possible bare hand contact using this method when customers scoop the food items. It is recommended to pre-pour items in their cup with a cover, using a cup with a handle, serving individually packaged items or providing a serving utensil for dispensing. 2. Sanitizing solution is not prepared for each event using bleach or quaternary ammonia solutions at 50-200ppm. Clorox wipes are on hand for surface clean ups; however, the concentration may not be sufficient. It is recommended that a sanitizing solution be prepared and tested prior to each event. |
