I was asked to never come back by the owner and given no explanation.
I gave been to Katie's 2 times. I recently lost 60 pounds and earned 2 cheat meals. I had really been craving pancakes. The coffee here is amazing and home fries are really good. I have NEVER been more dumbfounded or discriminated against without explanation in my entire life. I am genuinely disgusted.

Please understand I drove 30 minutes to go to this restaurant.

The first time I went I ordered..... 10-6-18
steak (cooked medium +) lightly seasoned, home fries and gluten free pancakes. When the food came out I recieved hashbrowns not homefries, my steak was raw in the middle and after trying the gluten free pancakes I decided I would rather have regular pancakes. I offered to pay for her to change them, but she changed them out with no problems. I had to send my steak back 2 times before it was cooked thoroughly to eat. the other 2 times it came back bloody and raw in the middle. The waiter realized her mistake with the home fries and changed them. my mother and daughters food was perfect. I paid and we left.
(for all the trouble any other restaurant would have comped my meal, but I didnt want or expect it. I raised no fuss)

I hadn't eaten gluten in 11 months. I was taking a risk eating it and I knew it. The next day due to the gluten and not Katie's cooking I was pretty ill. stomach ache and really bad headaches for several days. I decided no matter what I would stay away from the gluten even if they weren't quite as good as the full gluten pancakes it was better than no pancakes at all.

The 2nd time I went back 10-14-18
I ordered
steak. home fries and gluten free pancakes
(she remembered me from last week and let me know that gluten free receipe hadn't changed. I explained the story and told her it would be great)
I sat and did some work while I waited. Enjoying some great coffee. Everything came out and it was all very good. I sent nothing back. When my bill came I paid. The woman owner brought my receipt and asked me to never come back. I asked why? she said, dont ever come back. I was given no explanation.

this is a true story.

Please note I drove 30 minutes for a special breakfast . she wouldnt answer it then so I would like an explanation now. what did I do to be asked to never come back?
