Observed container of chlorine based sanitizing solution being used to sanitize serving utensils (tongs) which exceeded 200 part per million (ppm) chlorine which at that level is considered toxic. REPEAT VIOLATION FROM PREVIOUS INSPECTION. Immediate corrective action.
Cleanliness of Hands and Exposed Portions of Arms (46.131)
Cold water is turned off at the hand wash sink in the men's restoom which prevents food handlers the ability to adjust water temperature to accomplish proper hand washing. REPEAT VIOLATION FROM PREVIOUS INSPECTION. Immediate corrective action is required.
Manual Warewashing Sink Compartment Requirements (46.612)
Lack of (minimum) two basin sink (with department approval) to accomplish proper ware washing. The PA Food Code requires a three compartment sink for ware washing unless approved by the department for two basin sink. The owner may choose to install a two basin sink, but with a two basin sink a combination cleaner/sanitizer must be used in each compartment while conducting ware washing. REPEAT VIOLATION FROM THE PREVIOUS INSPECTION. Immediate corrective action is required.
Quality of Water (46.804)
Food facility is using an approved non-public water system, but does not have current laboratory testing results for water potability. REPEAT VIOLATION FROM PREVIOUS INSPECTION. Immediate corrective action is required.
Plumbing Facilities in Good Repair, Cross Connection Prohibited, Scheduled Inspections, Cleaning Water Reservoirs (46.825(b)-(e))
Observed cold water turned off to the hand wash sink in the men's restroom for what appears to be a plumbing related issue. Employees serving hot dogs are required to wash hands in the restroom and a second time at the hand wash sink when retruning to serve food. To accomplish proper hand washing food employees will have to use the ladies restrooms until the men's restroom is properly repaired. REPEAT VIOLATION FROM PREVIOUS INSPECTION. Immediate corrective action is required.
