I love grocery shopping. I travel a lot and always explore the grocery store , in Vt.,
Georgia, Iowa, Calif. etc. Weis prices are reasonable, comparatively . Absolutely clean, and well organized.
The major difference is the personnel and service.
They are not necessarily friendly or polite. And never go out of their way to assist you. Often they are checking out another customer before I get my bags it the cart, which I should not have to do. This the only grocery I have to load
Checked items myself. I find the produce inferior a lot. And the selection is limited to mostly Weis brands, increasingly lately. I shop two times each week. I need to say some of the staff is nice, tho great turnover. I want to shop local, and look forward to opening of new store, tomorrow. I hope my comments are taken in a constructive manner. I'm assuming you want honest evaluations. This is my hobby, I'm looking forward to,great improvements in the new store. These comments apply only to,the store on Broad st in Selinsgrove.
They had an excellent manager just a few years ago. These things were drastically improved. Staff even asked if the could help you, the were happy and seemed to enjoy work. I know improvements are realistic and possible. Good luck.
