Complaint: Customer visited facility on 6/12, first there was a note on the door that read no restrooms, and it appeared that the facility was cooking barbeque. Food was brought in from the back and placed on the table, along with potatoe salad. Customer did not see a sanitation license and did not observe any handwashing. The dishes were being washed in regular dish soap and rinsed under running water. There was no wash, rinse, and sanitize method. This facility is low risk. Investigation: Donna King the bar managerstated that they brought food from Kroger for the funeral of the late owner. She stated that they only made use of single service items. Donna was informed to notify the Health Department about bringing catered food from other facility. She inquired about this process and she was told to write a letter for that purpose.. The sign on the front door reads "No public restroom, and there is a 3-compartment sink and also a hand sink at bar. No violation noted during this evaluation. | 6/21/2011 | Complaint Investigation |
