  • ONLY FOOD SERVICE EMPLOYEES INVOLVED WITH THE DIRECT PRODUCTION OF FOOD ARE ALLOWED IN DESIGNATED FOOD PREPARATION/FOOD STORAGE AREAS. ALL OTHER NON-FOOD SERVICE EMPLOYEES ARE RESTRICTED FROM THE AREAS INVOLVED IN THE PRODUCTION OF FOOD. INSPECTOR WITNESSED NON FOOD SERVICE EMPLOYEE OF ESTABLISHMENT WITHIN FOOD PREPARATION AREA IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING OWN MEAL. SAID PERSONEL OPENLY HANDLING FOOD AND MAKING PERSONAL MEAL. NO PROPER HYGENIC/HANDWASHING PRACTICES WERE OBSERVED TO BE PRACTICED. SAID EMPLOYEE NOT WEARING HAIR RESTRAINT WHILE IN AREA. MANAGER ON DUTY IDENTIFIED SAID PERSON AS ACCOUNTANT OF ESTABLISHMENT.

INSPECTOR WITNESSED FOOD SERVICE EMPLOYEE DRINK FROM CLOSED BEVERAGE CONTAINER BUT FAILED TO WASH HANDS BEFORE RETURNING TO THE FOOD PRODUCTION AND PROCEED WITH HANDLING RAW UNCOOKED VEGETABLES WITH BARE HANDS. Employees must follow proper handwashing procedure in between tasks by washing with soap and hot water for 20 seconds and dry with paper towel.
