- 229.164 (o) (6) (B) (ii). All cold PHF food must be kept at 41 degrees or colder. Cheese on prep-table at 47F degrees. Manager stated that a variance had been submitted to City Health Department. Spoke to supervisor, who spoke with all 5 city supervisors. No one knows of a variance from Burger King on file, or being approved.
- 229.163 (h) (8) before gloves. Observed Food Handler, performing different tasks in establishment. Then put on a pair of Clean gloves to start working with Salads. Insure that all Food Handlers wash hands prior to putting on gloves, and when switching between different tasks.
- 229.163 (n) (1) eat.drink.smoke.. Insure that all personal drinks in dry storage area, have a lid and straw. Drink was sitting on shelf, directly over bag on onions, and paper goods.
- Establishment must always have at least one person on duty with a Food Managers Certification. Manager on duty had an expired Food Certification, Manager is scheduled for next week class.
- 229.165 (h) (2)thermometer available. RIC behind counter, has diary items inside. Cooler is missing a thermometer. All coolers with PHF foods must have working thermometers inside of them.
- Ch 13, Art II, section 13-26 Display permit. Establishment must always have a current inspection report posted for customer view. Currently establishment had an inspection report from earlier 2013. Last inspection was late 2013. Insure that todays, report is posted for customer view. Manager did state that there was an issue with trying to print report. Please contact Health Department, so that if any issues arise, we can bring an hard copy to establishment.
