- Ensure proper and adequate hand washing. Employee was observed performing a hand washing procedure in less than 20 seconds and did not use a cleaning compound. Employee did not wash hands after engaging in other activities that contaminate the hands such as touching hair, biting nails, handling dirty linens, and touching dirty clothes. Employees should wash hands in between glove changing and after possible contamination. Furthermore, employees should not wash hands in kitchen restroom.
- Ensure hand wash facility is adequate and accessible. Hand sink near lemonade station is not in working order and cannot provide hot and cold running water at a temperature that allows employees to wash hands. Water is either too hot or too cold. Employees should use alternate hand sink in kitchen area instead.
