  • Ensure self bagged ice has manufacturer's label on packaging. Observed several 10 lb bags of self bagged ice inside retail merchandiser without manufacturer's labeling.
  • Ensure paper towels are available at hand washing sink at all times of operation. No paper towels were observed available at hand washing sink located to 3 compartment sink.

  • 229.167 (e) (2) no soap. Did not observe soap at the front or bathroom handsink. Ensure there is soap at all handsinks at all times.
  • 229.167 (e) (3) (A) no towels. Did not observe paper towels at the front or bathroom handsink. Ensure all handsinks are equipped with paper towels at all times.
  • At time of inspection, there was not a certified food manager present. Establishment serves corn, chili, and cheese therefore there must be a certified food manager present. Ensure there is at least 1 certified food manager present during hours of operation.
  • Observed ice scoop being stored on top of cardboard box. Ensure scoop is stored on a smooth, easily cleanable, durable, and non-absorbant surface.
