  • Observed two dented canned foods, on shelf. Insure damaged canned food items are removed from shelves.
  • 229.167 (e) (3) (A) no towels. All handsinks must have papertowels.
  • 229.165 (m) (1) (A)not clean. Insure that utensils are cleaned after each use. Observed some dirty utensils, in drawer being stored with clean utensils.

  • 229.165 (m) (1) (A)not clean. Observed employee wet towel inside of handsink, then begin to clean equipment. Towel must be sanitized, so that food contact surfaces that are being cleaned, are also properly sanitized. Insure utensils are properly cleaned after each use. Observed bloody knife being stored with clean knives. Clean inside of ice machine, mildew and mold growning on interior. Observed slicer not being used, but still sitting on prep-table with blood and food debrie. Once again, all equipment must be properly cleaned after each use. Insure that food is store in approved Food Containers. What looked like Menudo, was sitting inside of trash can.
  • 229.164 (o) (6) (B) (ii). Beans inside of RIC, at 45 degrees. All cold PHF food must be kept at 41 degrees or colder.
  • 229.166 (g) (4) (B)backflow preventer. In meat market area, hose attached to faucet with no backflow preventer installed.
  • 229.163 (n) (1) eat.drink.smoke.. All personal drinks in kitchen area, must have a proper fitting lid and straw. Plus, observed in kitchen area, towel was inside of sink well. Do not store items inside of sink well, it must be kept clean, so employees can wash their hands. Also observed employee trying to clean utensils inside of handsink.
  • 229.168 (c) (1) toxics stored. Observed chemical spray being kept directly over spices inside of meat market area. Plus, insure that all chemicals are properly labeled with what name of chemical being stored in container.
  • 229.164 (f) (2) (A) (ii) (II) meat arrangement. Do not store raw meats over cooked food inside of cooler.
  • 229.163 (h) (6) wash as needed. Observed employee clean utensils, then start working with raw foods. Employees must properly wash hands between tasks.
  • 229.166 (i) (1) (A)HWS not accessible. In meat market, observed large push cart stored directly infront of handsinks. Do not block access to handsinks.
  • 229.166 (i) (5) (A)plumbing repairs. Repair handsink in restraunt area. Handsink is leaking.

  • REMOVE HEAVILY DENTED CANS FROM STORE SHELVES. DISCARD HEAVILY DENTED CANS OR RETURN TO SUPPLIER FOR CREDIT. ITEM WAS CORRECTED ON SITE.
  • PROVIDE SOAP AND PAPER TOWELS FOR THE MEAT MARKET HANDSINK LOCATED NEXT TO THE THREE COMPARTMENT SINK.
  • HAVE A CERTIFIED FOOD MANAGER AVAILABLE ONSITE DURING HOURS OF OPERATION. HAVE CERTIFICATE AVAILABLE ON SITE. CORRECT BY THE NEXT ROUTINE INSPECTION.
  • PROVIDE THERMOMETER FOR COLD HOLD ISLAND STAINLESS STEEL UNIT LOCATED INSIDE OF THE TACO-NAZO KITCHEN.
  • CORRECT THE FOLLOWING: (1) GENERAL CLEANING INSIDE OF ICE MACHINE. (2) REPLACE CRACKED PLASTIC CONTAINERS HOUSING THE RAW MARINATED MEAT LOCATED INSIDE WALKIN COOLER AS NEEDED. (3) REPLACE CRACKED PLASTIC LID OF DRY FOOD STORAGE CONTAINER LOCATED AT THE BAKERY.
