229.167 (e) (3) (A) no towels. Each hand washing sink must be provided with individual disposable towels. Paper towels were missing at all hand washing stations including Restrooms.
229.164 (o) (7) (A) Consume by date (prepared). Potentially hazardous foods placed in cold hold greater than 24 hours must be labeled with a date 7 days after the date prepared. Discard after 7 days with day 1 being the date prepared. Observed items in refrigeration with a date of 2/27. This is well after the discard date, discard these items after the 7 days. The items were discarded.
229.163 (h) (6) wash as needed. Food employees not cleaning their hands and exposed portions of the arms after performing task which contaminate the hands and before handling foods. Observed employees performing various task, moving garbage, cleaning, etc without the proper hand wash. Employees must follow proper hand washing procedure in between tasks by washing with soap and hot water for 20 seconds and dry with paper towel.
229.164 (f) (2) (A) (ii) (I) separation of meats. Raw animal foods must be separated during storage, preparation, holding, and display by using separation for each type. Observed Chicken and beef being defrosted in the same container. These meats were discarded.
