This pre-operational inspection was conducted in accordance with N.J.A.C. 8:24. The following areas inspected were; kitchen / prep areas, dining area, basement area, bathroom facilities and outside refuse area. The person-in-charge at time of inspection was owner, Arturo Marroquih.
NOTE: The menu will consist of chicken, pork, beef, and fish products. Salads will be served along with various appetizers. Sandwiches along with french fries, onion rings and rice will also be offered on menu.
NOTE: The following equipment was identified in establishment; 2 BBQ pits, cold holding deli display case, 2 fryer units, 2 gas stoves, 1 bain marie unit, meat slicer, coffee machine, 3-bay dish sink, 2 handwash stations, mop sink, and 2 prep tables.
In basement: 2 freezer chest units, 1 walk-in-box unit, 1 upright refrigerator unit.
NOTE: Equipment not in use, i.e. dishmachine, small freezer chest unit, and refrigerator unit must be discarded off premises if not being used.
NOTE: Advised PIC about Food Handler Ordinance in North Plainfield. Advised he has 6 months to come in compliance. PIC has attended a food manager training, ServSafe program, and is waiting for certificate. Reviewed documentation and proof of attendance in program. Advised SCDOH will need copy of certificate once received.
NOTE: At this time, establishment is in accordance with Chapter 24 Food Code. Approval granted to open.
