  • Observed several soda bottles being stored on the floor in dry storage area. Ensure all food items are a minimum of 6 inches off the floor.
  • No hot water is available in handsink for employees to wash hands. Instructed manager and other employees to temporarily use restroom handsink to wash hands since hot water is running there. Contact plumber and ensure handsink has hot running water within 10 days.
  • Observed unsealed wood shelves in back storage area. Paint or seal wood shelves so they are smooth, durable, nonabsorbent, and easily cleanable; otherwise remove wood shelving.
  • Observed black buildup on vents and shelves of main drinks cooler. Routinely wash, rinse, and sanitize all nonfood contact surfaces.
  • Observed no running hot water in facility's only handsink. Contact plumber and ensure handsink has hot running water within 10 days.
  • Observed gap underneath facility's front door. Secure bottom of door so light is not visible and pests cannot enter through. Install weather strip to keep door tight fitting.
  • Observed several cracks and holes on floors of facility. Seal damaged floors and tiles so they are smooth, durable, nonabsorbent, and easily cleanable.
  • Observed debris buildup on walls throughout facility, specifically behind drinks storage area and behind coffee counters. Routinely clean walls to eliminate buildup.
  • Observed several holes in the wall in main food storage area and in back storage room. Seal holes. Ensure there are no gaps around pipes, keep spaces tight. Also observed exposed insulation near employee storage. Secure and cover insulation. Also observed missing ceiling tile in main food storage area. Cover hole.
  • Observed several pieces of equipment being stored throughout the facility, particularly in back storage room and main food area. Remove all excess equipment that is not necessary for the operation of the store.
