- Observed meat department employees changing gloves without washing hands between glove changes
- One employee used meat scale (push screen) with gloves, then continued on to touch meat with same gloves
- Handwashing facilities (2) in meat department are not adequately supplied, therefore hands cannot be properly washed
- Hands are to be washed frequently with warm water and hand cleanser and properly by vigorously rubbing hands together for 10-15 seconds, and drying them
- Handwashing sink inside meat cutting room had no hand soap
- Shall provide soap here in dispenser
- Shall provide single-use paper towels at sink between meat cases
- Shall make accessible and supply (soap and paper towels) the handwash sink in produce washing room
- Cutting boards in meat department (some) are in need of resurfacing to be smooth throughout and deeper cleaning and sanitizing (they have a yellow tint, which according to employees is due to chorizo and meat seasoning and is not removable)
- Clean and sanitize regularly at least every 4 hours
- Observed mice droppings along walls in warehouse room
- Maintain these areas clean and free of trash or other rodent harboring conditions.
